About Us

Enhancing Entrepreneurs Through Play!

This group started when its founder Camille Diaz was looking for a new way to network. Recognizing how much entrepreneurs benefit from play and relaxation she was inspired to create Game Night Networking so everyone could combine work and play.

Group Playing Games

What to Expect

What happens during an event?

We typically spend the first half hour chatting and getting to know one another. There’s even a fun discussion question to help you have more things to talk about than just asking, “So what do you do?”

Once everyone has arrived and checked in we will make a few announcements and split up into groups for playing games. We encourage you to embrace the spirit of networking and try to play with a different group each time so you can meet new people.

What games are played during the events?

We play all sorts of board games and card games. Sometimes everyone plays the same game. Other times each group chooses what they would like to play. If there is enough interest, we may even expand to host various tournaments in the future.

What should I bring to an event?

Bring business cards, fliers, or anything else you typically share to represent your business. We do not do any formal card passing, but we do allow everyone to place their items on the sign-in table for others to pick up as desired. This is to help facilitate 1:1 pitch-free get-to-know-you appointments after the event. Please remember our no spam policy and do not add others to your email list without permission.

Can I bring my own games?

Yes! We would love for you to bring some of your favorite board games or card games and share them with the group. If we don’t know how to play yet, please teach us! Our host venue also has an extensive game library and we are welcome to borrow games to play. No need to stress over bringing games if you don’t want to. There will be plenty to choose from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to play games?

The game play is designed to provide an opportunity for relaxation, fun, and relationship building. We encourage everyone to play at least a round or two of a short game. However, you do not have to play if you do not want to.

Do I have to stay the entire time?

Events run for 2 hours to give plenty of time for game play. The first 30 minutes are devoted to open discussion, announcements, and getting into groups for play. Once the games begin you are welcome to stay and play long or short games. Our meeting officially ends at 6:30pm because our host sometimes holds tournaments in the same space at 7pm. If there is no event happening that evening, you are welcome to stay longer. If you do not wish to stay and play, you do not have to and are welcome to leave at any time.

Is there a cost to join the group?

This group is currently free to attend. Our host venue has asked that we support them by purchasing snacks and beverages from their store.

Is the group industry exclusive?

The group is not industry exclusive. There are no specific industry seats within the group. Come visit us and find out if it’s a fit.

Do I have to be an entrepreneur to join?

Not at all! We know many people are searching for connection. If you’d like a place for wholesome fun and friendly people, come on out.

Are there attendance requirements?

The more events you attend the more relationships you build. The best benefits of networking happen when you know your network very well and when you stay top of mind so others remember to introduce you regularly.
